Project 01 offers an opportunity to follow materials, technologies and integrated systems from specification and installation through commissioning and years of occupation in a real family home, with building performance measured before, during and after the retrofit.
Ways to work with us
Measured Ways is open to collaboration with manufacturers, technology companies, researchers, funders and media organisations interested in how low-carbon technologies perform as part of a complete building and in everyday family life.
What the project can provide
- Long-term post-occupancy data covering energy use, system performance, year-round indoor temperature, humidity, air quality and external conditions
- Documentation from installation through commissioning and everyday use
- Professional photography, film and technical case-study material
- Opportunities for site visits, demonstrations, events, CPD and wider industry engagement
Support will be disclosed, and the findings remain the findings
Any material support provided to the project will be clearly disclosed. Collaboration does not guarantee positive coverage or positive results. We will report what performs well, what does not meet expectations and what cannot yet be concluded from the available evidence.
Measured Ways is homeowner-led and has no product or retrofit service to sell. Partners can help us generate better evidence, but they do not determine what that evidence says.
